The Sunbrella Marine collection is expanding with a new recycled range, made from recycled fibres sourced from our own production offcuts. Sunbrella Plus Recycled is the first marine protective fabric range made from recycled fibres, designed and produced in France.
INSPIRATION & STYLE
A horizon line between sky and sea
Inspired by the horizon, these nine new colours reflect the meeting point between sky and sea. Soft, desaturated pastel shades that capture light, mist and the movement of sea spray. A subtle, contemporary palette, imagined like a marine watercolour.

Sunbrella Plus Recycled stands out through its subtle nuances: heathered tones, slub yarns and delicate variations that give each fabric its unique character. Resulting from the recycling process, these slight differences in tone and texture become a true aesthetic signature, enhancing the authenticity and elegance of the range.
A LOCAL, CONTROLLED RECYCLING PROCESS
Across all our production lines, we recover, sort and select production waste by colour: yarns, selvedges, fabric scraps.
This precious material, because it is recycled, is reintegrated into our future productions. This is how the endless stories of our fabrics begin.

Performance & Design
Sunbrella Plus Recycled combines virgin and recycled fibres thanks to an innovative weave: High Tenacity yarns in the weft and 50% recycled yarns in the warp ensure the same strength, stability and durability as the classic version, while reducing environmental impact.
A "High Tenacity" yarn for enhanced stabilitya
The High-Tenacity yarn significantly limits stretching and sagging, ensuring perfect stability and a like-new appearance over time. Designed to offer the best protection for boats and their crews, this fabric meets the needs of manufacturers and boaters for multiple applications: sprayhoods, biminis, sun tops, etc.
Designed without harmful substances and posing no risk to health, skin or the environment, our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, the highest level of textile safety. Our products also contribute to indoor air quality and are GREENGUARD GOLD certified.
All treatments applied to our products comply strictly with European REACH regulations.
Additionally, Sunbrella Plus Recycled is designed without PFAS (perfluoroalkyl chemicals). All our collections have transitioned to this model since the end of 2023.
