The 25th edition of the Mini Transat ended on an exceptional note for Mathis Bourgnon, who triumphed after 2,600 miles of solo sailing between the Canary Islands and Guadeloupe.
On board his 6.50 meter sailboat, Mathis demonstrated impressive determination and control throughout the crossing.
Without assistance, communication with the ground or access to external weather data, he had to rely solely on his experience, instinct and preparation.
The conditions were sometimes extreme, severely testing the skippers from the very first days. Despite this, Mathis managed to maintain a precise course and a bold strategy, ultimately crossing the finish line first.
This victory is the reward for months of training, discipline, and perseverance. It illustrates the mental strength and adaptability needed to triumph in a race where every decision can change everything.
