A recycled fabric inspired by nature
Composed of 50% recycled fibers from our textile waste and 50% virgin fibers, ORIGIN is expressed through three complementary worlds inspired by nature. The simplicity of earth, the finesse of plants, and the robustness of minerals shape each of the eight colors in the range. The unique and authentic character of the colors results from a creative and committed process combining shades through the interweaving of fibers before spinning. Each fabric bears witness to its past cycle; its transformation gives new life to the material and enhances it.
Designed to meet the same uses and provide the same level of protection as our standard fabrics, ORIGIN offers optimal protection outdoors (UV, heat, glare) as well as indoors (improved thermal comfort, light and temperature regulation).
A durable fabric part of a global circular economy approach
As the first recycled awning fabric range, ORIGIN is part of a global approach to upgrading our textile waste. This collective initiative launched in 2023, called "recycle my DICKSON", brings together customers and partners to imagine and implement concrete actions to better protect our planet. By integrating a complete textile waste recycling process at every stage of the product life cycle, we promote more responsible consumption. The CO2 impact of ORIGIN fabric is 27% lower than that of a standard fabric.

LONG-LASTING COLORS
The solution-dyed yarn used to produce our fabrics offers long-lasting resistance to UV rays and weather conditions. Even when exposed to strong sunlight, they retain their vibrant colors for a very long time.

Certified OEKO-TEX (Class II, products in direct contact with skin), Dickson fabrics are produced without harmful substances and pose no threat to health, skin, or the environment.
10-YEAR WARRANTY

MADE IN FRANCE
With its unique expertise, Dickson manufactures all its fabrics in Wasquehal, in northern France (59).
VISUAL AND THERMAL COMFORT
Dickson® fabric reduces glare and heat by up to 95% to eliminate the greenhouse effect, maintain indoor coolness, and, depending on the color, block 90 to 100% of UV rays.

The CLEANGARD® finish, resistant to water and dirt, ensures high resistance to stains, grease, and water. Combined with regular maintenance, it guarantees long-lasting fabric performance.

Origin is recommended for all types of outdoor awnings. All references are sold in a 120 cm width. For larger widths, we recommend INFINITY, available in 165, 200, 250, and 320 cm.
